### Question 2

Radhika is 93 weeks and 7 days older than me, whereas Rajiv is 24 weeks and 10 days older than Radhika. If Rajiv was born on a Thursday, on which day of the week was I born?

**A**

Sunday.

**B**

Saturday.

**C**

Tuesday.

**D**

Wednesday.

**Soln.**

**Ans: a**

Rajiv is 93 + 24 = 117 weeks and 7 + 10 = 17 days older than me. Weeks are in multiples of 7 days. So we can ignore them. We can deal with the 17 days alone. Since 17 = 2 X 7 + 3, the excess days are 3. So we can count the day to Thursday + 3 = Sunday.

.### Question 3

How many hours are there between 2::07 A.M. to 7::42 P.M.

**A**

17::35.

**B**

18::34.

**C**

16::33.

**D**

19::36.

**Soln.**

**Ans: a**

Minutes from 2::07 A.M. to 3::00 A.M. are 60 - 7 = 53. Minutes from 3::00 A.M. to 12::00 noon are 60 X 9 = 540 mins. Minutes from 12::00 noon to 7::42 P.M. are 60 x 7 = 420 + 42 = 462 mins. So total minutes are 53 + 540 + 462 = 1055 minutes, which are equal to 60 X 17 + 35 Thus, hours are = 17, and minutes = 35
