Question 4
SSC-CGL 2020 Mar 3 Shift 1

If the radius of a circle is 42 cm, how much distance will be covered by making 8 rounds?

Solution

Distance in 1 round = perimeter

$\displaystyle \equiv 2 \pi R = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 42$

$\displaystyle \therefore = 2 \times 22 \times 6 = 264 \text{ cm}$

distance in $\displaystyle 8$ rounds = $\displaystyle 264 \times 8 $

$\displaystyle \implies = 2112 \:\underline{ Ans}$
