Question 25
SSC-CGL 2020 Mar 3 Shift 2

In an isosceles triangle ABC, AB = AC. If angle A is 52°, then find the value of angle B?

Solution in Brief

ABC is isosceles with AB = AC

$\displaystyle \therefore \angle B = \angle C = x$

Given $\displaystyle \angle A = 52\degree$

$\displaystyle \angle A + \angle B + \angle C = 180\degree$

$\displaystyle \therefore 52 + x + x = 180$

$\displaystyle \implies x = 64 \degree\:\underline{Ans}$
